How to change my SIID username, password, and account photo?

SIID account photos and usernames can personalize your account, and are visible to your collaborators — this feature can help others identify you on the platform. For example, profile pictures are displayed in the SIID badge when you collaborate on a file with another person.

You also see your account photo at the top of the page on siid.ai.

How to change your name on siid.ai

To change your name on siid.ai

1. Sign in to SIID.
2. Click your avatar in the upper right.
3. Click Settings.
4. Click Edit next to your name.
5. Type the name you'd like to use.
6. Click Save.

How to change your password

If you know your password but want to change it, you can reset it in your account settings.

1. Sign in to SIID.
2. Click your avatar in the top-right corner.
3. Click Settings.
4. Click Edit next to your password.
5. Enter your old password. Then enter the new password you’d like to use. 
6. Re-enter the new password you’d like to use. 
7. Click Save.
   

If you forgot your password and need to reset your password from the sign-in page:

1. Go to SIID.
2. Click Sign in.
3. Click Forgot your password?
4. SIID will send a password reset link to that address. 

Click the link in the email to create a new password.

How to set or change an account photo

To set an account photo:

1. Sign in to SIID.
2. Click your avatar in the upper right
3. Click Settings.
4. Click Change Picture under your photo.
5. Click Remove Picture if you simply want to use your initials, or click Upload Picture to select an image file from your computer.

What file type can I use for my profile picture?

Your profile picture must be at least 256px by 256px. You can use any of these file types:

• .bmp
• .gif
• .jpg
• .png
